Celebrating the Success of the 2026 Dogwood Dash

The year 2026 marks yet another triumphant edition of the Dogwood Dash! Despite some ominous weather forecasts, we welcomed approximately 150 enthusiastic participants, including our oldest runner, who is an impressive 84 years young! Thankfully, the rain held off, contributing to a fantastic event. Whether a seasoned runner or a first-time walker, the Dogwood Dash welcomes everyone to be part of this cherished tradition.

A Sense of Achievement

As the final runner crossed the finish line, the air was filled with a sense of accomplishment and joy. The event wrapped up with an awards ceremony that honored not only the fastest runners but also the oldest participants, who truly embodied the spirit of the Dogwood Dash with their enthusiasm and sportsmanship.

We express our sincere appreciation to our employees and volunteers, whose steadfast commitment and support ensure the success of this event year after year. The post-race celebrations carried on with lively music, delicious food, and plenty of laughter. Participants and supporters mingled, exchanging stories about their experiences on the course. Local vendors provided a delightful selection of snacks and refreshments, enhancing the vibrant atmosphere of camaraderie and festivity as they filled the bank parking lot.

Looking ahead to next year, we hope to see even more participants joining in the fun. Together, we make each year better than the last!
