Celebrating Christmas With CSB

To celebrate Christmas, Citizens State Bank (CSB) hosted children from the Castillo House, a local children’s home for children 5-13, at their Woodville and Warren branches.

The children were gifted a new pair of Nike or Adidas tennis shoes, an Under Armor or Nike hoodie, and a toy, provided by CSB party funds and donations from its team. They also enjoyed games, pizza, soft drinks, cookies, and door prizes during the event.

Santa also made a surprise appearance, bringing joy to all attendees at the event.

The children embodied the essence of joy and the spirit of Christmas. Some highlights from the event included joyous reactions from the children.

“These are the best shoes I have ever had. Did you see how fast I was?” said 8-year-old Zach upon unboxing and running around in his new Nike tennis shoes.

“I don’t need more presents. That truck is all I wanted! Can you please just open my truck?” said 5-year-old Charlie after unwrapping his monster truck as part of the gift exchange during the Night Before Christmas game.

“This is the best night ever! When do we get to come back?” asked 7-year-old Matthew while riding a scooter around the bank.

11-year-old Jordan was thrilled when he won the grand prize for the evening, an electronic keyword. However, upon seeing another child disappointed about not winning the keyboard, Jordan graciously gifted it to his friend. He even traded his gift exchange present of a football with another boy who was excited to receive the gift.

CSB appreciates the generosity of its team in making this event possible and providing an unforgettable experience for the children of the Castillo House.
